Animal selection & sourcing
Animals are sourced from the fertile belt around Bareilly, where natural pastures and year-round green vegetation keep supply healthy and consistent. Strict norms govern which animals are accepted at the lairage.

Our working process
From animal selection at the lairage to a sealed reefer container — every stage happens inside our own facility, under our own veterinarians and government supervision.
A walk-through of the Bareilly plant.
Stage by stage
Animals are sourced from the fertile belt around Bareilly, where natural pastures and year-round green vegetation keep supply healthy and consistent. Strict norms govern which animals are accepted at the lairage.

Before slaughter, every animal undergoes an ante-mortem examination. Unfit animals are separated and never enter the line.

Slaughtering is carried out strictly as per the Islamic method of Halal, certified by the Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind Halal Trust, with halal integrity maintained through every downstream stage.

Post-mortem tests are conducted in our in-house laboratory by our own veterinarians, under the supervision of the U.P. State Government’s Veterinary Officer, Department of Animal Husbandry.

Carcasses move to the deboning hall where cuts are separated, trimmed of sinew and fat, and graded. Most segments of the plant are automated, which shortens handling time and keeps the product fresh while processed.

Chilling equipment, blast freezers and plate freezers bring the product down to core temperature quickly — the step that protects colour, texture and shelf life.

Product is interleaved, vacuum-packed or bulk-packed into printed export cartons under the Marya or Al-Sumama brands, or in the buyer’s own private-label artwork.

Finished cartons are held in on-site cold stores at the required temperature and loaded directly into reefer containers, with halal, health and APEDA documentation issued for the destination market.

What holds it together
Automation across most plant segments keeps hygiene effective and handling time short.
Hazards identified and controlled at defined points, verified and documented.
A food safety management system running across the whole operation, not one department.
The whole manufacturing process is designed to be environmentally responsible.
